Brightlands announced in The Hague

15th September 2014

To increase the international attractiveness of Chemelot Campus, Maastricht Health Campus and our region, the Province of Limburg and the “Kennis-As Limburg” partners have proudly announced that their collaboration will be emphasized by a new collective brand: Brightlands.

The campuses will adopt Brightlands as part of their brand name; the “Kennis-As Limburg” partners Maastricht University, Maastricht UMC+, and Zuyd University for Applied Sciences will endorse Brightlands when they communicate about R&D.

So Brightlands Chemelot Campus and Brightlands Maastricht Health Campus will combine their reputations, taking steps ahead to become even more attractive, in particular internationally.

What unites them is that in both places molecular sciences leads to new solutions for society. At the same time, they both face the challenge to play a major role in the economic development of the region. Increasing international attractiveness is therefore of great importance.

They believe, they can only succeed if they can appeal to the ability to join forces. That’s why Brightlands is presented as an inclusive (family) brand to promote the campus and innovative region. For more detailed information about Brightlands, visit their website.
