Open Day

07th March 2013

Open Day
Saturday 23rd March 2013; 10:00 – 16:00
Oxfordlaan 55, 6229 EV, Maastricht

The Brains Unlimited scanning facility is an internationally-focused magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) centre, providing research and education services to universities, hospitals and industry.

Situated on the Maastricht Health Campus at Randwyck; the core elements of the newly constructed facility are three Ultra-High-Field whole-body human MRI scanners; a 3T, a 7T and a 9.4T – the latter one of only 5 in the world and at the cutting-edge of technology.

The new MRI scanning facility of Brains Unlimited will hold an Open Day on Saturday 23rd March. This will coincide with other open days on the campus (namely for AZM and that for potential Bachelor’s degree students at Maastricht University’s Faculty of Health, Medicine & Life Science, and Faculty of Psychology and Neuroscience);.

We look forward to welcoming everyone who is interested in learning about the facility, the technology we have, and how Ultra-High-Field imaging will provide new levels of insights into human anatomy and function – with implications for medical diagnosis and treatment.
